Course Overview

Scrum Agile Training tailored to your needs to bring your Agile Teams up to speed by increasing their productivity. Scrum as a 2-day intensive training covers the principles and (empirical) process theory underpinning the Scrum framework, and Scrum roles like Scrum Master, Product Owner and Scrum Teams in it. This  training is a combination of instruction and team-based exercises, and teaches what is at the heart of the Scrum and Agile movement.

Scrum is easy to learn but difficult to implement. Therefore, in our 2-day training, we run simulation on a Scrum Project so that delegates get to apply what they learnt.

Scrum is an agile framework for managing knowledge work. It is designed for teams who break their work into actions that can be completed within time-boxed iterations, called “sprints”.

A key principle of Scrum is the dual recognition that customers will change their minds about what they want or need (often called requirements volatility) and that there will be unpredictable challenges—for which a predictive or planned approach is not suited. As such, Scrum adopts an evidence-based empirical approach—accepting that the problem cannot be fully understood or defined up front, and instead focusing on how to maximize the team’s ability to deliver quickly, to respond to emerging requirements, and to adapt to changes in market conditions.

One of the popular Agile Certifications in this space is PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®. The PMI-ACP spans many approaches to agile such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, extreme programming (XP) and test-driven development (TDD.) So it will increase your versatility, wherever your projects may take you.
